What has happened since…

A year ago, today, my Mother-in-law went home to be with the Lord. I decided to write on her blog today to try to come up with a glimpse of what has gone in the year after her departure here on earth.
I hope to encourage our family and friends as we keep her memory alive and honor her today for the life she lived on earth and the joy to know she is in heaven.
In this last year, I have had many moments on which I looked around our lives, and saw her prayers being answered and producing a harvest.
I also have a personal message I would like to share. I know we all know that those who are in Christ will have eternal life. “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.” 1 John 4:13-14
Philippians 3:20-21 declares: “But our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly await a savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.”
Shortly after Mom went home to be with the Lord, I had a dream. In the dream she was laying on a bed dead. Suddenly she opened her eyes. I was amazed to see her awake and quickly called Edgar saying; “Edgar mom is alive!” At the same time, I could not believe it myself. “How could that be?’ We buried her; I saw her body going in the ground!” I Thought. It didn't take me long to be ready to care for her all over again. Quickly, she got up. I told her not to get up, that she could fall. I followed her with my arms ready to catch her in case she fell. To my surprise, the more she walked, the stronger she got. I noticed she was not little and fragile anymore. She was tall, strong and she was not sick. That’s when I understood that mom is not dead and she is not sick anymore, the Lord did heal her and gave her a glorified body!!
This has been so comforting to me and I hope it will comfort those who might need comfort today as we think of her.
These pictures represent her life here on earth, her prayers, the desires of her heart and the fact that God is faithful to her, just as she believed HE was. This was one of the claims she made on her last message: “I met him as a faithful God and that is who he has been for me”
Lilliana Raquel, first great granddaughter was born. Her offspring will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Psalms 112:1-2
Alan's Graduation, Cyber Security Engineer. She once told me: "I will never quit praying for my grandchildren until the day I go home to be with the Lord. Even if I don't get to see them doing well in my lifetime, God is faithful and I know he will still do it." She knew the prayer of the upright is powerful and effective.

Mom last heart desire was for her Grandchildren to love the Lord with all their heart and to serve him. This is an answer to her prayer and a demonstration of God's faithfulness toward her. On his second trip to Ecuador, she prayed for him everyday, even though she was fighting her own battle against Cancer. This was his third trip and as she had gone to be with the Lord, her prayers were still active in his life.
